Port Gamble Sketches

Darin and I headed out for a little breakfast and sketching date in Port Gamble on Saturday. After a delicious bite to eat at Butcher & Baker, I found a spot on a picnic table to sketch. I loosely sketched a little house and the view over the water, alternating between pages as paint dried. I’ve been using an A5 Hahnemühle 100% Cotton Watercolor Book lately and love how it handles wet watercolor.

Sketching outside after a busy week leaves me more refreshed and centered. I hope you’re taking time for creative adventures big or small and would love to hear about what you’ve been up to!

Other supplies used: my Folio Palette, Rosemary & Co R13 travel brush, all tucked inside my A5 Art Toolkit.
