Last month I had the pleasure of working in a beautiful studio space in Fort Worden State Park. Centrum, an arts organization based in the park, granted me an artist-residency to develop my Washington State Ferries art into an exhibit opening this May with the Port Townsend Marine Science Center.

The studio space was huge space (about 900 square feet!) and full of light. I filled it with tables and paper and loved having a change of scenery from my small studio at home.

Highlights for me included using the studio as a base for some large watercolor sketches around town and pulling out my big brushes to just play. I appreciate my sweetheart Darin and the Art Toolkit team for supporting my time and space there!
