I’m so excited to be in the final preparations for my Witnessing Climate Change, 46 Years in the Arctic, exhibition featuring the research of ornithologist George Divoky. In addition to field sketches and new studio paintings, the show will include data visualization and equipment installations from Cooper Island, created with my collaborator, educator Katie Morison. The exhibit opens at the Jefferson Museum of Art and History in Port Townsend on August 5th and will be open through December. Here’s a sneak peek of the five large studio paintings I completed for the show, and after I finish this push of framing and installation, I’ll share more here!
