I am happy to participate this month with the Seattle Pacific Science Center’s Curiosity Expo, a science-filled weekend for the whole community. This event, formally Polar Science Weekend, is a partnership between PacSci and the University of Washington Polar Science Center and Applied Physics Laboratory.

Curiosity Expo

The weekend will include hands-on activities investigating the impacts of climate change. I’ll be there Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th with an Expeditionary Art exhibit featuring my Witnessing Climate Change project. Come meet me and science educator Katie Morrison to practice field sketching, learn about how receding sea ice is affecting Arctic ecosystems, and to create a special bird band bracelet!
