Salish Explorations Exhibit!
I’m thrilled to announce that my exhibit, Salish Explorations, is open at the Port Townsend Marine Science Center Gallery, just down the hall from the Art Toolkit Retail Shop. It’s open through July 13st, Thursday-Sunday, Noon-3pm, or by appointment. There’s also terrific large windows so take a peek if you visit Art Toolkit!

The whole exhibit feels like a love letter to the Salish Sea, featuring work created on-site through my artist residencies with the Washington State Ferries and Centrum, along with the countless days I have spent sketching local coastlines.

I have included over 30 framed giclée prints from my sketchbook, as well as larger original paintings I created on the Salish Ferry on the Port Townsend-Coupeville route.

We have two complementary events planned with the exhibit:
- June 6th: Expressive Skies Sketch & Stroll: 12pm-2pm, a free demo and sketch meet-up from the Art Toolkit Retail Shop. Learn more details here!
- June 7th: Seascapes: Dramatic Clouds and Water Workshop: 10am-2pm, join me in-person at Fort Worden in Port Townsend to learn techniques for painting dynamic clouds and water. Registration details here!
Special thanks to the Port Townsend Marine Science Center for hosting, helping designing, and installing the exhibit, and the Art Toolkit team for all of their support!
