New Transitions!

This summer marked milestones, as well as some big transitions for both my family and Art Toolkit.
In July, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our dear kiddo Stella, and moved their room into what was previously our home office and my studio space. It’s been quite a shuffle and I’m currently settling into my new home studio in their former bedroom. This was all made possible by a big move at Art Toolkit!
This spring and summer, we expanded into a beautiful new warehouse space (just a six-minute bike ride from our house!). This move brought more creative space for our team, and set the stage for expanding our downtown retail shop. This marks two moves in two years for Art Toolkit (first downtown and now here!) which has been a lot for sure!

Now I’m bringing my personal work of Expeditionary Art back into focus! While I’m always sketching, I do love a project. Next month, I’ll be starting a new one as artist-in-residence for one week with the Washington State Ferries!

I’ll be sharing more updates soon and look forward to being in touch!
