San Juan Vacation
I have a new kayak! My husband and I took an early Memorial Day vacation last week to San Juan Island to camp, play on the water, and relax. Starting with waiting in line for the ferry at Anacortes, I had fun making some quick sketches with my Art Toolkit.
I’ve managed to squeeze a few new items into my Art Toolkit lately. My favorites include a small Moleskine watercolor notebook, a flat Niji waterbrush, as well as a Kolinsky #3 travel watercolor brush. All in all it’s more than enough to keep me busy!

Thank you, Carol! I just have the one cover color at this time, but have additional colors on my future project wish list. :)

Hello, I just happened to come across your post while searching for pens to use with watercolor paints that won’t run. How neat it was to see your San Juan Island trip because I grew up on Orcas Island and my whole family is still there. I live in CA now and miss the NW a lot. Thank you
