I recently documented a day in my life for Art Nerd Seattle for their Dear Diary Series and had the pleasure of meeting with writer Elissa Favero:

Happy Earth Day! To celebrate, we bring you a day in the life of Maria Coryell-Martin, an expeditionary artist whose practice brings her to the far reaches of the world on scientific field work; into the studio, where she completes paintings based on her initial field sketches; and finally back into the world to present multimedia exhibitions and talks about her collaborations with scientists to study place and environmental change. Think Thomas Moran and his Yellowstone paintings or Emily Carr and her work about British Columbia.

See the photos and read more at Art Nerd Seattle!
