Hi, Maria,
I haven’t been getting your e-mails because among too many others I neglected to transfer over to the new address! We always love to see your work and hear about your activities.
On June 23 I participated in a jury at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts and they kept two of the paintings, so I was very pleased.

Your watercolor kit is inspired! Just last week I took my little plastic paintbox out to the beach, and when I tried to pour some of the water out of the mixing tray, dumped most of the wet half-pans out into the sand. It was funny, but your magnetic boxes are completely genius!
Your work and your website are gorgeous – I come back often to see what’s new.

Thanks, Leslie! I’ve had the exact same problem in the past, plus I almost dropped my palette down a glacier once. The magnets so far are working great for me and I can clip my palette to sketchbook, too, keeping it “on belay”. Sketching on beaches… sounds right for summer!
