It’s time once again for Polar Science Weekend! It’s a fantastic weekend of hands-on activities for all ages featuring polar scientists and professionals, hosted by the Pacific Science Center and the University of Washington’s Polar Science Center.

This year–my eighth out of the program’s nine-year history–I’ll have new activities and an exhibit of my Imaging the Arctic field art and tools, and will be giving a presentation on “Expeditionary Art” at 2:30pm on Sunday. I hope you can make it!
