I completed this painting Fall 2008 and it was inspired by my time accompanying a glacier monitoring scientist on Mt. Baker in the North Cascades mountain range. The frame is a beautiful walnut 1.5″ wide and beveled frame, hand-made in Seattle by Plasteel Frames. Its archival mat is 3″ wide and the piece finished with framer’s grade plexi-glass.
