Seattle springtime is wet and rainy and we’ve even had a last blow of snow. In spite of the weather, I’m venturing out for small adventures and recently explored the waterfront Richmond Beach Saltwater park for my first time. It’s lovely with a bridge across the train tracks and wooden driftwood shelters which were great shelter for sketching in the rain. Barrow’s Goldeneyes and Common Mergansers were diving around in the choppy water and I watched the Sounder train chuff by.
