I spent the morning working on some watercolor paintings. Here’s one completed sketch:

On another note, my boyfriend and I took a big step together today. We finally decided to… invest in coffee paraphernalia. We bought a cute espresso maker (Bialetti Moka Express), a little milk pitcher, and some Fran’s dark chocolate sauce. The past couple of days have just been grey and stormy here in Seattle and morning coffee treats are more and more appealing. While my boyfriend (web designer extraordinaire Darin Reid) and I do like to work once or twice a week at coffee shops, we’ve decided that we spend too much money on them when we’re just out in town. Hopefully our new kitchen toys will save us money in the long run while bringing some extra warmth and coziness to our coming fall and winter mornings.
