Workshop this weekend
There are a few more spots left in my workshop this Saturday with the Seattle Art Museum! It’s going to be a fun one and I’d love to have you join me. The workshop is a collaboration with Seattle Tilth to forage for images, sketching edible plants around the Olympic Sculpture Park. SAM gave me a generous budget for materials, too! All participants receive this fantastic little kit I put together. It’s a lite version of my favorite Art Toolkit.

Hi Maria
i’m trying to create a basic palette for learing and wondered what your colors in this kit were. Hope you’re having a nice summer.

Hi Irene,
The color samples are Daniel Smith paints: Hansa Yellow Medium, Prryol Orange, Quinacridone Rose, French Ultramarine, Pthalo Blue (green shade), and Quinacridone Burnt Orange. Daniel Smith includes these all in an “Essential 7” set.
Best wishes,
Maria

Checked on your cool workshop at SAM. It’s sold out! Sounds fun. I’m here from Texas and would have loved to attend. Let me know of there’s a cancellation!
