I’m off to the Grand Canyon to raft from Phantom Ranch to Diamond Creek from February 10th—25th. Wish me luck! The expedition I’m joining has three replica wooden dories from the 1950s and is seeking to raise awareness for both historic boats and changes in the Colorado River since the 1950s. I’ll be documenting as much as possible with my sketchbook. Updates from the trip will be periodically made by Sat phone and posted on the Historic Boats Afloat blog if you’re interested!
