These Emperor penguins were inspired by my artist-in-residency in Antarctica with Quark Expeditions. We visited the Snow Hill Island colony on the Peninsula in October (spring time down south) when the sea ice was still thick. The penguins were great fun to sketch and I developed these cards from my fieldwork. The set includes 6 cards with 2 of each design.
