Exploration Watercolors
New 5″ x 5″ watercolors featuring the North Cascades as I warm up and explore compositions in my studio.

I took a field trip with my sweetheart today on a ferry that’s temporarily running between Edmonds and Clinton (Whidbey Island). We took the ride for novelty as well as with high hopes for seeing the migratory grey whales which are now passing through Puget Sound. Our outing was a grand success! The rain relented, whales spouted, and I even did a bit of sketching. If you’re interested in this ferry route, it’s running for one last weekend (April 1-3) while the Mukilteo dock undergoes repair.
I'd be delighted to hear from you.
