Changing Seasons

2

aspenIt’s great fun watching the seasons change in the Methow Valley. Fall came blustering in with winter tight on its heels. The hills above my house in Twisp, WA (the small town I recently moved to), are dusted with snow. I particularly enjoyed watching the aspens change color. They turned brilliant yellow and I could hear the leaves chattering from my house as they trembled in the wind. Now they’ve dropped, leaving skinny, stark, black and white trunks and twigs. Have I mentioned I’m excited for snow?

Love it. Striking lines against the true colors of the season. Wish I could make it your way before winter makes the route challenging.
