Shades of Fall

Posted

This past Saturday I had a lovely time with my North Cascades Institute workshop, Shades of Fall. We began the day with practicing tools of observation and continued with watercolor painting out of pocket mint-tin palettes. The colors in the Arboretum are just beginning to change and it was great fun to come upon trees glowing yellow and orange in the sunlight. Thank you to all who joined me!

Maria!
Thank you for a beautiful(but chilly) day of great instruction.
Your enthusiasm and all the great advice, tips & tricks got me really excited about taking the time to do more water color.
Your art is inspiring and it was a lot of fun to get a little bit of background of all the work that goes into it.
Happy painting!
